Approach & Philosophy

Dr. Rabinow’s approach is integrative and relational. She draws from a range of modalities—including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical, acceptance-based, and attachment-informed therapies—tailoring treatment to meet the specific needs of each individual or couple.

Her work is grounded in the belief that the therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful tool for healing. She uses the present-moment experience in therapy to illuminate patterns, emotions, and dynamics that shape a client’s inner and interpersonal world. Through this lens, clients are able to explore the deeper roots of current struggles and develop new ways of understanding and relating to themselves and others.

Above all, Dr. Rabinow values a collaborative, egalitarian relationship with her clients. She welcomes feedback, honors the expertise each person brings about their own life, and brings her own insight, warmth, and presence to the work. Her goal is to support meaningful, lasting growth—whether that means working through old wounds, strengthening relationships, or building a more grounded sense of self.
